03.02.04 - Operate and Maintain Trail Networks

The continued effectiveness and longevity of EIP projects are highly dependent upon ongoing operation and maintenance (O & M) programs. Without these programs, the Basin’s transit facilities and transportation system would not adequately function to serve the public or meet the goals of the EIP.

Activities supported in this area includes on-going maintenance and operations needs for bicycle and pedestrian trails and facilities.

Projects include:

• Trail sweeping
• Trail snow removal
• Trail pavement maintenance and crack sealing
• Costs to maintain and run lighting
• Trash pick-up
• Vegetation management
