Restore Priority Meadows, Wetlands, and Lake Tahoe Tributaries
Restore 4,500 linear feet of stream channel and enhance the function of the Stream Environment Zone and associated habitat types. Restore river connection to its floodplain and create instream habitat complexity. Remove encroached lodgepole on floodplain to reclaim meadow, while maintaining the wildlife corridor. Total project area is about 134 acres, with approximately 60 acres of Stream Environment Zone restoration. Reroute, re-vegetate or BMP user created trails. Remove invasive species and re-vegetate.
