Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
This is a water quality improvement project located in Incline Village. The area is highly connected to Lake Tahoe and is a priority treatment area due to a relatively large baseline FSP load. The project proposes to install stormwater treatment BMPs and shoulder stabilization within the existing Washoe County right-of-way and undeveloped public parcels, providing treatment for urban stormwater runoff to meet the Lake Tahoe TMDL. This project is on the 5-year list. Once funding is secured, Washoe County intends to hire a consultant and begin planning and design of this project in 2023.
