Transportation Program Build and Enhance Transit Systems
The project includes design of transit, trail, and parking improvements at Chimney Beach (~130 spaces) and Secret Harbor (~120 spaces). Chimney Beach includes a pedestrian actuated signalized crossing on SR 28, .9 miles of trail, a prefabricated bridge at Marlette Creek, and vista points. Transit pullouts at Thunderbird Lodge, Chimney Beach, and Secret Harbor. Signage extension of the No Parking Zone from just north of the IVGID pump station to the chain control sign/pullout south of Secret Harbor is included. NEPA is complete. Construction to begin in 2026
