Sustainable Recreation Program
Improve Public Recreation Facilities
IVGID in partnership with the Incline Tahoe Foundation (ITF) and the Incline Bike Park (IBP) have come together in hopes of building a bike park in Incline Village, NV. This would build a community park for all age groups and abilities to enjoy. The Bike Park would be centrally located in town to allow users to ride their bikes to the park, instead of driving. As seen at other similar venues in the Tahoe Basin, bike parks are a family centered event that get folks out of their cars and can have a lasting impact on human health as well as improve air quality. This recreational project will have a lasting impact on the community with a low carbon footprint and a high return on investment.
