Stewardship Program
Engage Communities in Environmental Stewardship
The Conservancy is collaboratively leading the Climate Adaptation Action Plan (CAAP), which uses Basin specific, downscaled climate projections to develop a vulnerability assessment, including expected climate change impacts and associated implications for priority resources, such as lakes and streams, forests, transportation, and public health and safety. With the help of peer agencies, the CAAP will identify gaps and opportunities in their climate adaptation work. Participants will subsequently identify specific actions that they themselves commit to implementing. The CAAP will provide key information that will be utilized in planning efforts for future project implementation.
