Science Program Implement Programmatic Monitoring and Reporting
Lake-wide monitoring of aquatic plants is needed to understand the existing conditions of locations and extent of plant populations. This information is used to strategize aquatic invasive plant control activities. Monitoring includes in situ dive transects and remote sensing techniques LiDAR and high resolution aerial imagery. This project also includes the development of a monitoring plan that will allow program managers to conduct future monitoring efforts consistently.
