Science Program Implement Programmatic Monitoring and Reporting
This landscape-scale, interdisciplinary annual assessment program is intended to determine the status and trends of sensitive biological resources and their habitat, and identify restoration opportunities and biodiversity hot spots in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The collective results of this effort would be used to produce status reports, and design projects focused on supporting resilience of the Lake Tahoe Basin landscape under a changing climate. The disciplines include plants, fungi, fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, birds, and associated habitats. Species evaluated would include, but not limited to, ESA-listed, Forest Service Sensitive, and TRPA Special Interest species.
