Transportation Program Build and Enhance Trail Networks
The SR28 North Parking, Sidewalk, and Water Quality Improvements includes environmental analysis, final design & construction of 30+ parking spaces (depending on design) north of the existing Tahoe Eastshore trailhead parking at Sweetwater Rd; build a connecting pedestrian path to the new Tahoe East Shore Trail connecting parking areas, 4-6 parking spaces at Rocky Point, address erosion and signage at Sunset Vista pullout, and 2-3 parking spaces for operational employee parking at the Tahoe Eastshore Trailhead, and water quality improvements within the existing NDOT Right of Way as part of the parking improvements. Once constructed, extend no parking zone from Ctry Club Dr to Sweetwater Rd.
