Transportation Program
Build and Enhance Trail Networks
The “Incline Flume” trail is located above Incline Village and is primarily accessed from Mt Rose Highway (HWY 431). It connects to numerous other trails and access points, such as the Tyrolean trail, Diamond Peak access roads and Tunnel Creek trail/road in Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park on the south end. This project provided trail maintenance and major reconstruction of several failed segments. It is popular with trail runners, mountain bikers, walkers and hikers - of all ability levels. This project has been a collaborative effort with Friends of Incline Trails, the USFS, the Tahoe Fund, and many local volunteers.
