Transportation Program Build and Enhance Trail Networks
Establish a sustainable trail system that will meet current and future access needs to Forest Service lands while minimizing impacts to resources. Trail BMPs include decommissioning, reconstruction, reroute and road to trail conversions. Phase III - Project funds the final stages of design & construction of the Angora Fire Trail Project to provide water quality retrofit of the non-motorized recreation trails in & near the Angora Fire area. BMPs will be installed at public trail system access point near the intersection of Sawmill Rd and Lake Tahoe Blvd and Incline Trails. implement reconstruction and BMP installation on existing trails within the Incline Trail Plan.
