Build and Enhance Trail Networks
The Project site is along Apache Ave from the US 50/ SR 89 intersection to the Meyers Elementary School and implemented sustainable mobility improvements to provide a safe walkable and bikeable roadway. The project improvements include approximately 0.39 miles of Apache Avenue with curb and gutter, a stormwater drainage system, a Class I shared use path, a sidewalk, and updating existing Class 2 bike lanes. Safety improvements include increased signage and a vehicle speed feedback sign, high visibility crosswalks and pavement markings, and ADA curb ramps.
