Transportation Program Build and Enhance Transit Systems
Design and implement revenue assessment and collection system infrastructure and operational systems related to vehicle use at Lake Tahoe for the purposes of creating revenue to implement the Regional Transportation Plan; most notably transit and its supporting multi-modal infrastructure and services. The collection system must address residential use, commuter use, and visitor use. Options must address factors such as governance, policy, equity, revenue generation, user program operations, technology, public information systems, and revenue distribution. This project is consistent with the Regional Transportation Plan and falls under the Transportation Demand Management Programs.
