Forest Restoration Program Restore and Protect Native Fish and Wildlife
California Department of Fish and Wildlife will analyze the abundance and distribution of non-native fish (mostly rainbow trout) along major tributaries on Lake Tahoe's west shore. This will include tributaries such as Ward Creek, Blackwood Creek, General Creek, etc. This assessment will be used to assess future re-introduction strategies of Lahontan Cutthroat Trout in these tributaries.
