Forest Restoration Program Restore Native Vegetation and Forest Communities
Forestry - Upper Ward Creek Aspen is an approximately 9 acre project that would remove conifers to restore an aspen grove. This project has been terminated because it has been merged with another large scale forestry effort. The Upper Ward Creek Aspen forestry project involves cutting of trees that will be marked under the guidance of a RPF for forest health and fuel reduction efforts. The project will be implemented by hand crews cutting designated trees and brush. The project is split into two phases, the first being the cutting of designated trees and brush and the second being the burning of the piles.
