Community Wildfire Protection Program Implement Defensible Space on Public and Private Parcels and Utility Corridors
The Tahoe Water for Fire Suppression partnership consists of 17 water service agencies within the Tahoe Basin. This partnership works together to promote fire protection. This project is a basin-wide programmatic approach to protecting water infrastructure by providing fuels reduction activities at each of the partner agencies water delivery infrastructure sites. Upon completion of the Vegetation Management Plan, fuels reduction implementation can begin at the recommended water service agency sites throughout the Basin.
