Community Wildfire Protection Program Reduce Hazardous Fuels
A broad coalition of stakeholders, including the Tahoe Fund, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team, Martis Fund, and the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, are bringing BurnBot to Tahoe to pilot and showcase its potential to help increase the pace and scale of forest health treatments safely and effectively. We hope this two-part pilot will lead to the incorporation of BurnBot into our regional forest health and wildfire prevention strategy. BurnBot provides remote-operated, tech-driven systems for both mastication and prescribed burns that make each process faster, safer and easier to carry out.
