Reduce Hazardous Fuels
The Tahoe Village Fuels Reduction Project was a 57 acre forest thinning and fuels reduction project located on undeveloped land west of the Tahoe Village HOA community. The project was originally funded by FEMA. The environmental compliance was completed as a part of the Environmental Assessment completed for the FEMA projects. The funding source was switched to U.S. Forest Service funding so that pile burning could be utilized to dispose of slash.
