Prevent, Control, or Eradicate Aquatic Invasive Species
This project will implement monitoring and treatment at previously completed Aquatic Invasive Plant (AIP) treatment locations on National Forest System (NFS) lands to ensure no new infestations occur, projects meet objectives, and biological and physical habitat conditions on NFS lands are conserved/enhanced. Objectives include development of monitoring plans, oversite of scientific divers completing monitoring and rapid response treatments on NFS land, documentation that competed AIP projects on NFS are monitored, and remain weed free, and ensuring biological and physical habitat on NFS lands is conserved/enhanced.
