Aquatic Invasive Species Program
Prevent, Control, or Eradicate Aquatic Invasive Species
The Tahoe Keys is the highest priority location of invasive aquatic weed control. With the completion of the Tahoe Keys Control Methods Test, data collected will inform a holistic treatment regime for the entirety of the Tahoe Keys. Maximizing fragment containment and interim treatments will take place in 2025, as well as stakeholder engagement. Planning and environmental review will be the next step planning to solve this complicated infestation.
