Aquatic Invasive Species Program Prevent, Control, or Eradicate Aquatic Invasive Species
This effort built upon previous AIS plans to guide AIS funding, planning, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of AIS control efforts in the Basin. Through a collaborative approach with key agencies, scientists, and stakeholders, the strategy identifies relevant AIS metrics consistent with EIP objectives, sets clear short and long-term management targets, and developed a plan to achieve short-term targets. The plan also includes a funding strategy to leverage federal, state, local, and private contributions necessary to achieve the targets. This plan developed metrics and targets to guide strategic AIS control efforts in the Basin.
