This project along Kingsbury Grade/SR207 within Douglas County proposes to perform fuels reduction and restore a portion of Edgewood Creek to improve stream function and water quality, along with improving the stormwater treatment directly connected to Edgewood creek via the TRPA treatment BMPs. Specifically (1) Capture and treat TRPA stormwater runoff prior to entering Edgewood Creek by improving treatment BMPs. (2) Remove unnecessary fill and restore the channel of Edgewood Creek. (3) Perform fuels reduction throughout the entire project area, but specifically within the SEZ. (4) Prevent, control, or eradicate terrestrial invasive species.
