Watershed Restoration Program
Restore Priority Meadows, Wetlands, and Lake Tahoe Tributaries
The Rosewood Creek Continuation Project seeks to restore an area between two previously completed restorations on Rosewood Creek by constructing in channel grade controls using biostabilization and adding stormwater treatment where it is needed. The project's goals include improving water quality, riparian function, drought resilience, and terrestrial and aquatic habitat. The project completed water quality monitoring on Rosewood Creek that had been ongoing since 2002; the final report was submitted to the Bureau of Reclamation on September 30, 2023.
