Watershed Restoration Program Restore Priority Meadows, Wetlands, and Lake Tahoe Tributaries
Restore Meyers Creek (a tributary/infeeder stream) in vicinity of Hole 18 of the Lake Tahoe Golf Course in Lake Valley State Recreation Area. The golf course was constructed in late 1950's (prior to current standards for erosion and water runoff control) and stream was channelized into a ditch. Project includes construction of a more sinuous channel and revegetation to improve value as wildlife habitat. This project is associated with proposed Upper Truckee River Restoration at Lake Tahoe Golf Course.
