Watershed Restoration Program Restore Priority Meadows, Wetlands, and Lake Tahoe Tributaries
STPUD has a waterline located in Tahoe Paradise Park near Lake Baron that crosses the Upper Truckee River. The utility line is at critical risk for failure due to stream erosion/morphology issues. This project is the design and implementation of improvements to the existing waterline by installing a redundant waterline on the Pedestrian/Bike Bridge that is to be constructed by the County. This waterline is the main source of water supply to over 3,000 homes in Tahoe Paradise.
