Stormwater Management Program
Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The Cattlemans and Black Bart Basins were constructed as part of the Pioneer Trail III Erosion Control Project in 2001. The improvements included corrugated steel pipe outlet structures with atrium racks near the edge of the basin side slopes. Since construction the basins have become wet basins with the outlet structures now under water most of the year. The project will be focused on retrofit of the outlet pipes to so as discharge runoff above the existing basin surface water elevations allowing for proper inspections and maintenance related to runoff and sediment transport.
