Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
TRPA completed regional analysis and identified priorities for area-wide infrastructure within key watersheds basin-wide to enable more efficient and effective stormwater treatment for local neighborhoods than by parcels alone. This will increase options for private property owners to treat stormwater, assist local jurisdictions to meet TMDL, and help implement EIP projects.Future planning at individual watershed scale will take a holistic approach to address natural resource issues such as soil and water conservation, invasive species, and fuels reduction. May include technical assistance to retrofit single-family property owners’ BMPs that will reduce nutrient and fine sediment to the lake
