Stormwater Management Program
Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
This project supports operations and maintenance of capital projects by upgrading equipment to support current air quality standards through equipment upgrades. This project purchased a Tymco 500X and will improve the clarity of Lake Tahoe by reducing the detrimental water quality impacts from El Dorado County roadways. The purchase and use of high efficiency sweepers has been proven to reduce fine sediment particles and nutrient loading from urban roadways and reduce the amount of fine sediment particles that become airborne.
