Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
Road and trails planning and implementation for backcountry areas including unpaved roads, trails, etc. This also includes BMPs. Identifies all road and trails to be maintained by CA State Parks, improvements to those not meeting standards, and removal and restoration for those roads and trails not be maintained. Secured project specific funding to restore and enhance 800 feet of the Rubicon Trail and associated Day-Use area within Emerald Bay State Park. These funds were awarded through an SB630 grant from the CTC in the amount of $100,000. Volunteer trails and SEZ restoration are also included in this project.
