Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The U.S. Forest Service completes 100 miles a year of trail maintenance basin-wide to ensure trails can be utilized by the public and to ensure they are properly designed and maintained to avert erosion and runoff that can cause water quality impacts. This project captures miles of maintenance completed by the USFS and the Tahoe Rim Trail. All trail projects with private funding contributions are tracked as separate projects.
