Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The project area is comprised of three discontinuous segments from Cave Rock to the US 50/SR 28 intersection. The area is comprised of massive cut and fill slopes which contribute significant amounts of sediment to storm water. Slopes have been prioritized for treatment based on the highest sediment loads as well as connectivity to Glenbrook Creek and Lake Tahoe. The project will also include treatment, shoulder stabilization and conveyance measures for those areas not included in previous projects.
