To further understand the litter accumulation patterns and movement below the surface of Lake Tahoe our goal is to investigate litter accumulations in bathymetric features such as localized basins, channels, and shelves along the Nevada shoreline between the depths of 70, 35, and 25 feet. We will use the findings to inform lakebed litter transport processes and litter loads within Lake Tahoe.
