This pilot project was implemented to allow Clean Up The Lake to further investigate the submerged litter present below the surface of Lake Tahoe via SCUBA divers and a team of other volunteers. The skills, knowledge and procedures acquired through this pilot project will contribute to the success of the upcoming 72-mile Lake Tahoe SCUBA enabled clean-up.
