North Lake Tahoe Regional Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory

The Project will provide Tahoe City Public Utility District (TCPUD) and North Tahoe Public Utility District (NTPUD) an opportunity to understand a comprehensive view of operations emissions, manage Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions output, identify opportunities to reduce GHG emissions, and measure progress toward local, regional, state, and federal climate goals. The objective is to create a baseline and current year GHG Inventory for the North Lake Tahoe region from state line at Crystal Bay west to the Nevada County line and south along the west shore to Emerald Bay. The inventory includes data on emissions from services provided by the TCPUD and the NTPUD within their service territories.
