Tahoe XC Lodge Project

Relocate and expand the Tahoe XC Lodge, meeting growing outdoor recreation/education demand and improving the managed trailhead for an extensive network of skiing/hiking/biking trails. The new lodge is an adaptive reuse of a 1930s home with an addition; retaining the welcoming charm of the original house and upgrading the entire facility to a net zero, all electric structure. The project is the climate adaptation strategy for Tahoe XC, encouraging year-round connections between community members and nature. Educational and recreational opportunities abound on a site next to the high school and with ADA accessible grades which will serve all members of our community.
