Improve Public Recreation Facilities
Funding for the 2019 Van Sickle Bi-State Park Vision Plan improvements will come from federal funding sources such as Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) and Recreational Trails Program (RTP). To access these funds, an environmental assessment (EA) and Section 106 evaluation are required. This process will analyze the proposed park improvements outlined in the 2019 vison plan for environmental, social and economic effects and allow for public comment. The expected completion is July of 2025.
