Sustainable Recreation Program Improve Public Recreation Facilities
This project involves new park improvements at Van Sickle Bi-State Park. Plans currently call for the construction of employee housing and a maintenance shop. Employee housing will provide affordable housing to park employees and allow for rangers to be stationed onsite. An improved maintenance facility will allow park staff to station maintenance personnel onsite. The facilities will be utilized to support future developments at Van Sickle Bi-State Park. Construction is anticipated to begin during the summer of 2026.
