Sustainable Recreation Program Improve Public Recreation Facilities
Replace and improve the Emerald Bay restroom facility. Emerald Bay welcomes up to 1,000 boats per day and more than 10,000 visitors per day during busy summer weekends. Vikingsholm has one very old restroom which was constructed in the 1960s - due to its age, the restroom is deteriorating and is not ADA compliant. This is a beautiful and iconic park and the restroom facility that serves these thousands of visitors is no longer up to the task.
