Sustainable Recreation Program Improve Public Recreation Facilities
Retrofit access road to improve visitor safety and water quality protection, improve pier and other resort facilities. BMP retrofit plans were incorporated into the Forest Service’s prospectus for a new 30-year special use permit to operate the facility and bring it into compliance with regulations including those that protect Lake Tahoe’s water clarity. Pier replacement completed.
