Zephyr Heights Community Defensible Space

Fuels reduction treatment on a minimum of 75 acres of private parcels located within the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) of Zephyr Cove, Nevada. This project collaborates with private landowners to implement defensible space and fuels reduction treatments on their properties. The project emphasizes community empowerment through education and outreach efforts that promote fire-adapted practices. This includes the formation of a Firewise site in partnership with Zephyr Cove residents.
