Fuels reduction and stream restoration of up to 100 acres of fuel reduction work on a 200-acre private parcel to reduce wildfire risk, restore functions on McFaul Creek, and remove invasive weeds.
Fuel treatments would include thinning of overstory trees, slash piling and burning. Understory brush would be cut, piled and burned, masticated, or chipped.
Stream restoration would include performing low-impact process-based restoration water quality improvements while simultaneously performing fuels reduction within the SEZ.
