Community Wildfire Protection Program
Reduce Hazardous Fuels
Tahoe RCD will manage and support risk assessments that will be used in project prioritization to increase the pace and scale of project planning in the Lake Tahoe Basin (Basin). This work will further the Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team (TFFT) and Basin partner efforts to identify and prioritize forest health and fuel reduction treatment projects. These risk assessments and project prioritization are critical components for completing the Community Wildfire and Protection Plan (CWPP) update, a multi-jurisdictional fuels reduction strategy.
