Aquatic Invasive Species Program Prevent, Control, or Eradicate Aquatic Invasive Species
In October 2022 during a surveillance monitoring survey, a dense Eurasian watermilfoil infestation was observed by divers. In 2023, Tahoe RCD's contracted dive team installed barriers in June to control Eurasian watermilfoil. Barriers were removed in November 2023, and follow-up surveys and plant removal (if needed) will continue in 2024.
