Acquired in April 2018, Johnson Meadow, is a 206+ acre property located in South Lake Tahoe along the Upper Truckee River. Prior to acquisition the property was privately held and served as a dairy and seasonal pasture. Following acquisition Tahoe RCD is engaged in a comprehensive phased restoration project to benefit; wildlife habitat, water quality, fisheries, recreation, vegetation preservation, soil conservation, and public open space.
Phase 1 (Complete): Preliminary restoration analysis, planning, and design to a 30%.
Phase 2: (Current Phase): Environmental Analysis and design to final design and permitting
