Watershed Restoration Program
Restore Priority Meadows, Wetlands, and Lake Tahoe Tributaries
Restoration of Meeks Meadow and Meeks Creek to improve ecological function of 200 meadow acres and tribal cultural opportunities at Lake Tahoe; also treats dense fuels in 100 acres of upland forest surrounding the meadow. This project will involve partnerships among the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California, the US Forest Service LTBMU, and California Tahoe Conservancy.
