Stormwater Management Program Operate and Maintain Stormwater Infrastructure
Annual Street and Road Operations and Maintenance within the Lake Tahoe Basin of Placer County. Includes all on-going, recurring costs for operations and maintenance of roadways. Annual operations and maintenance costs must be tracked as part of the Regional Transportation Plan Update. The County maintains 110 miles within the Tahoe Basin. Maintenance tasks include cleaning roadside ditches and drainage inlets, seasonal road sweeping, pavement surface restoration, winter snow removal, application of vehicle traction abrasives, and removal of roadside vegetation.
