Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
Pavement rehabilitation and new asphalt concrete overlay of Elks Club Drive from Boca Raton to Pioneer Trail were installed with this project. Included the construction of rolled curb and gutter from Pioneer Trail to Skyline drive which provides roadway widths for vehicles and bicycles, while eliminating sharp drop-offs at existing edge of road AC swales. The project established Elks Club Drive as a Class III bike route and allowed for a connection from the future Greenway Bike Trail Project. The Greenway is currently planned to cross Elks Club Drive near Boca Raton.
