Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
Plan and design area-wide infrastructure within key watersheds basin-wide to enable more efficient and effective stormwater treatment for local neighborhoods than by treating by individual private parcels. This will increase options for private property owners to treat stormwater, will assist local jurisdictions to meet TMDL obligations and implement EIP stormwater projects. The planning will take a holistic approach to address natural resource issues such as soil and water conservation, invasive species, and fuels reduction. This project may provide technical assistance to retrofit single-family property owners’ BMPs that will reduce nutrient and fine sediment flow into Lake Tahoe.
