Stormwater Management Program Reduce Stormwater Pollution From: Roads and Highways, Forest Roads, Public and Private Parcels
The project included revegetation, installation of rock rap-rip, new retaining walls and articulated blocks to stabilize the eroding slopes and roadside swales. In addition, vegetative buffers were implemented alongside the roadway to slow storm water and capture pollutants prior to discharging to areas of stream environment zones. The project also included construction of detention basins, land coverage restoration, drop inlets and facilities to capture and convey storm water for treatment.
