Science Program Implement Programmatic Monitoring and Reporting
Collect and make available high-resolution Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) and multi-spectral imagery covering the entire Lake Tahoe Basin. The project proposed to deliver: 1) current LiDAR and multi-spectral goespatial datasets, 2) an analysis of the datasets to derive estimates of impervious hard and soft coverage for the entire basin, and 3) an analysis of the datasets to derive vegetation, terrain, and hydrologic attributes needed as inputs for fire hazard and water quality models.
